We love this gorgeous, Austin, Saltlick Wedding! Melissa & Patrick were searching for Texas photographers while planning their destination wedding from New York City. We are so glad they found us! The first time Melissa and I talked, I knew she was my kind of bride! She is laid back, fun, and so sweet. During this first call I learned that Patrick and I grew up a few miles from each other in west Michigan. Small world!! It was there that he began sailing the Great Lakes and his love for all things nautical grew. Now living in New York, Melissa & Patrick share a love for sailing. In fact, they spent two weeks sailing the Chesapeake Bay for their honeymoon on their brand new boat! I love that they incorporated bits of nautical inspiration in their wedding decor with compass escort cards, table names, and a super cute sailboat cake topper. Their day was absolutely perfect, despite the rain. Melissa did an amazing job fusing styles – rustic texas, down-home BBQ, and Northeastern sailing club. Everything was so comfortable and classic at the same time. We had the best time with these two!
